Apparently this is not the correct driver for my system (a few years old Thinkpad T61), and windows update / update-driver doesn't find anything newer. If they always caused problems, they would disappear from the market almost immediately. I also do windows update daily as well and have all the latest updates for all my software and hardware. Report the output from the command window once it finishes. Last month I boughta Dell Inspiron Mini 10 1012 with Windows 7 Starter pre installed.

My mouse still moves but every program window turns greyish and does not respond. Not sure which of these fixed it but I hope this helps someone else. However no actual disk activity seems to be happening. Sometimes every 2 minutes and sometimes every 10 seconds.

In the command window that opens, type sfc /scannow and hit enter. I am using IE8 and Windows 7 RC. Not necessairily windows files per say but the files for the game itself; something could have corrupted one or more game files causing the system to freeze. (someone correct me if have a peek at these guys which like i said above takes a couple seconds or minutes to clear up.

I have an i7 on an Asus P6T built with premium components (cyberpowerpc). No warnings just froze solid and only thing to do was power down. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart" ] I have been using the new hard disk with a Windows 7 installation for about 4 days. I add my bank, etc.
After the browser freezes it spreads to the rest of the system. When using windows XP, nothing happens so I know nothing's wrong with the hardwares.
