Netbook Can't Resume From Sleep BUT Works Fine From Hybernation
In the past, I've had times when I would have a black screen (no white cursor) and be forced to restart, to which everything would be alright. I also went to power options to make sure once i did the fix, i made sure the option were all on hibernation mode and it really worked. DID THE SOLUTION HELP YOU? Runs no problem (except some USB ports stop the energy saving and Intels video drivers don't support HDCP on HDMI repeaters, but that's another story).

It is incredible this solution still needs to be invoked in 2009, two years after the problem was found! After putting the system to sleep, 10-15% of the time, the screen is blank. first doesn't work, second eventually let the system boot.
