When Windows 8 came around, it included the ISO burning and allowed mounting of ISO images natively without third-party software. Burning an ISO to disc is essentially the same as it was in Windows 7. Laptop would not shutdown on its' own either. Great mounting option for the inexperienced as well. Check This Out
