I store thousands of files and keep them in my own logically organized folder/directory structure so that I can find them when I need them and I know where to put Nowadays I tend to put everything on the desktop first, especially downloaded pictures, because otherwise the probability is that I will have to spend time tracking down exactly where MS in i'm used to the regular windows, know where everything is, and don't use the library at all.
