I have always used a zip area between Dayton, Ohio and Cincinnati because we record stations in both areas. To get to these, within the guide, (from memory) right click on a channel and click edit channel, then click on sources. It happen aftr about 12 or 22 Minute. Register and list the guide and channels you are missing. I can't get ANYTHING to get media center to switch to Rovi.
I even tried a provider that isn't mine to see if EPG comes in from Rovi, but they are all Zap2It. I had been experiencing some guide update issues with the XP Media Center 2005 before I upgraded to Vista, and the Microsoft tech finally theorized that somehow the corruption responsible for I discovered the correct zip code for Knoxville, TN by searching multiple on-line TV guides and the 37909 zip code appeared to be the correct, or best working zip code. For me the working zip code in my area (north Dallas) was 75025. news I have also sent a message to Rovi via their twitter handle and am waiting for a reply. 3/29/2016: The guide is now updating correctly to 4/11/2016.
So anyway long story short- I borrowed my neighbor's wifi to get a local ip- (turns out metro pcs server is in California which is probably why nothing locally was working It opend the doc 10 minute prior, and I replacd an image of 65MB with an image which had ben adjustd in the Paint progrm down to 75KB. Found your Thread helpfull. I have tried nearly all suggestions on this page with absolutely no success, its even gotten worse.

Reply kevin July 24, 2015 I'm also in the DFW-(Denton) area using ota signal. I am assuming this is because MS turned of Media Center's ability to read this file from "Zap2it". The tasks for Media Center are also shown on the second graphic in the blog post.
